Photo Icons on your Mac

Dave Taylor has some good tips for getting your image icons to be a preview of the image itself in OS X.  I've noticed that the image capture app does this automatically if you use it to get photos from your camera, instead of letting iPhoto do it.  Apparently Graphic Converter will let you do this with photos already on your hard drive.
